Our 1968 ‘BRG’ MGB Sporting Its New 1968 NH Scenic Number Plate.

A cute, ‘value-added’ feature of New Hampshire’s car licensing — when it comes to “Antique Plates“. IF your car is qualified to have “Antique Plates”, and you indeed do have them, THEN IF you can find a NH number plate corresponding to the year of your car you can put that plate (or plates) on your car in place of the “Antique Plates”. We were told this, in detail, last September, when we got around to registering our 1968 ‘British Racing Green’ (BRG) MGB as an antique — which it is.

In October 2015 I bought the above plate, from eBay, for Devanee’s birthday. That they were a matching green and had ‘3’, ‘6’ & ‘9’ was a bonus — those being some of my favorite numbers. 

It took us till TODAY to finally get it mounted on the MGB. Part of the delay was that you have to go to DMV in Concord, NH with the new plate, an old plate and your registration and have the ‘year plate’ (e.g., 1968 plate) registered.

I couldn’t find TWO 1968 plates. I should look again. Of course, I am in the market. IF you have have two 1968 NH plates PLEASE contact me.

It is cool. Took the MGB out for a fairly long spin. Did good. We like it.

NO 6 Images Of The Day — August 26, 2016. I Don’t Have A Camera!

No, no. This is not like the April 2016 meltdown. I sent in my Fuji X-E2s to Amazon, as a trade-in, today. So I no longer have a camera.

Yes, I know there are at least 3 working digital cameras in the house NOT counting all the pads and phones. But none of those cameras are mine.

Yes, of course, I could have avoided this. But it was intentional. I wanted 4-5 days WITHOUT a camera. A kind of decompression, reset mindset time.

The current plan is to order a Nikon P900, as my ‘compact’, early next week.

The New ‘Amazon Vehicles’ Is Good For Me, But Not, Down The Road, For eBay.

‘‘, unveiled this week, is good news for me — as an Amazon shareholder and as one that likes (and occasionally buys) cars.

You do not have to be a genius per se to work out where this is headed. Amazon will start listing cars — most definitely used and possibly new.

I have bought one car from eBay and two from Craigslists. I would have NO HESITATION buying a car from Amazon knowing for a fact that they would stand behind me. This is not good news for eBay. [I also happen to own eBay and PayPal shares but my interests in Amazon overshadows those by quite a huge margin.]

So this will be Amazon next foray — and it is too small a step for this now GIANT to be called its ‘next horizon’.

I look forward when I might be able to buy a car on Amazon using my Amazon Prime ‘privileges. SMILE.
