I Start Trading-In My Fuji Lenses As I Move Away From Fuji … To Nikon?

The one thing I know for sure is Fuji and I are DONE! Toast. Kaput. Yes, it was an intense and short lived infatuation — though I so wanted to be a dedicated, long term flag bearer for Fuji.

It was last week that I finally and irrevocably decided that I am NOT going to get a Fuji X-T2 — a camera that I had pined for for nearly 9 months. It wasn’t price, it wasn’t availability IT was the appalling autofocus traits of Fuji cameras and their lenses. I really was shocked at how bad Fuji was. It is not something that other Fuji fans appear to want to admit.

Well I had enough after about 70 days — though in that time I had shot 10,000+ images with my Fuji X-E2s and the Fuji X-T1 I rented from Lumoid.

The current plan is to go with Nikon.

And the migration has now started with this trade-in with Amazon.

Ironically today (in the course of shooting 850 images at “Lost River“) I shot the 10,000th image with my soon to erstwhile X-E2s.
