China, following the Russia & the U.S.A., was only the 3rd country in the World to conduct a spacewalk from one of their own spacecrafts. French, Japanese, Australian & Swedish had done so before the Chinese — but either from the Russian MIR space station or from U.S. space shuttles.

The Chinese spacewalk came a full 43-years after the very first spacewalk, by Russian Alexey Leonov on March 18, 1965.

The first American spacewalk was that same year, 77-days later.

I have to confess that though a HUGE fan of Roku, I had NOT heard of the Roku IPO until this morning — and that from MarketWatch, a Website I frequent incessantly!

I am no longer BIG on IPOs. I, personally, haven’t made any money on an IPO in ages. So, I no longer get too excited.

At $12 to $14, the Roku IPO price seems ‘interesting’. So, I will keep an eye on it tomorrow morning. It is supposed to get priced tonight, i.e., September 27, 2017. IF it shoots up, it, like so many other tech IPOs of late, is most likely to come down 20% within the month! I will keep you appraised. Do not sweat. That is what and why I am here.

8pm, Wednesday, September 27, 2017.

Roku has set the IPO price at $14 — the maximum that had been previously muted. Hhhmmm.

Thursday’s opening will tell.

The “Jesuits”, As In Pope Francis, Came To Be This Day, 477-Years Ago; September 27, 1540.

They are best known for their relentless & ruthless missionary activity, commitment to education & intelligentsia, and their devotion to discipline.

Pope Francis now, whether he likes it or not, the most famous Jesuit of them all, the first Jesuit to be Pope.

The next most famous has to be St. Francis Xavier — the notorious, crusading missionary.

And then there was, thanks to him having been the Director of the Holy See Press Office for 10 years, nut-job, Federico Lombardi, S.J. (b: 29 August 1942).
