‘Cirque du Soleil’ “OVO”, Verizon Arena, Manchester, August 28, 2016 — Beyond Incredible.
This was the 4th ‘Cirque du Soleil‘ we have seen (on stage). The others having been ‘Mystere‘ (in Vegas in 2012), ‘Dralion‘ also in 2012 in Manchester, and ‘Varekai‘ in 2014, again in Manchester. We like ‘Cirque du Soleil’ shows (despite the costs) — they are quite the experience.
‘Ovo’ had 5 BEYOND incredible, only possible with ‘Cirque du Soleil’, acts.
They were the: synchronized juggling by the ‘Amazing Ants’, trapeze without the swings, tightrope HAND WALKING, the mindbogglingly CUTE ‘slinky’ and a mesmerizing Diabolo Chinese spinning-top Yo-Yo juggling routine. These were, as they were probably meant to be, WORLD CLASS.

Most INCREDIBLE circus act I have EVER SEEN and I am a veteran of 70 or 80 circuses, including the “Moscow Circus” in Moscow. I would pay $100 to just see this!

Tightrope walking is one thing, but walking on your hands on a tightrope is a whole different matter. This was an amazing display of strength, agility and skill.
The synchronized juggling made the recent synchronized swimming at the Rio Olympics look childish!
These 5 acts just took the show over the top.
There were other great acts too — like the now copied by others — walking the vertical wall act.
The acrobatics, as ever, were in a class of their own and the music, again, as ever, was superb. Yes, we bought the CD (and the Program (as we invariably do). They don’t sell DVDs.
Amazing. Amazing. Amazing.
Just INCREDIBLE.
Also incredible that the arena, at best, was only 1/2 full. Yes, we went to what is always the least attended of the shows. That is why we go. Easier to get good tickets and we had outstanding seats. Basically the same ones we get each year to see “Barnum and Bailey” — but these costs 4.5x times more! But am not complaining. And neither was Deanna who often complains that I pay too much for tickets. She loved the show. But I think ‘Cirque du Soleil’ is too expensive and too ‘fancy’ for the New Hampshire crowd. Just worry that they will stop coming to Manchester. That would be a shame.

Lisa DiMartino Marching In The 2016 “Old Home Day” Parade — The YouTube Video.
140 pictures I took yesterday of Lisa DiMartino, at the parade, stitched into 6-minute video — with ambient music added.
You will enjoy it. It is fun. Thank YOU.

Today August 28, 2016, Is “Go Topless Day”/”Free The Nipple” — Not Just In Vancouver, BUT 60 Cities Including New York.
Do what needs to be done.
I have already done my part. I went TOPLESS, in public, for nearly 50 minutes, this morning — though, alas, nobody, but nobody, appreciated what I had on show.
I doubt whether I will see any female toplessness in public, in New Hampshire today, though I plan to be travelling around 100 miles through the State. SMILE. C’est la vie.

Revisiting My Exclusive New Hampshire ‘Red-Blue Map’ From 2012 — Obama v. Romney. NH Will Be MORE Red In 2016.
In 2012, contradicting what you would have thought if you just went by all of the roadside political signs you saw in New Hampshire, President Barack Obama again won New Hampshire (a battleground state, and superficially ‘red’), by 40,659 votes (5.8%).
The NH voting was done in terms of 237 ‘towns’; Obama won 142, lost 94 and one, Dixville, was a tie.
Of the 10 NH Counties, Obama won 7, lost 3.
I painstakingly created these maps (in November 2012) to see how this victory was wrought.
As some of you know I campaigned like a black for Obama in 2008 & 2012 — going door-to-door (at least 450 houses in each instance), doing phone-banks, making signs, stuffing bags, taking people to the polls on election day and feeding (on my own dime) the other Obama volunteers in Laconia on multiple nights.
I haven’t volunteered as yet in 2016 for the Presidential election — though yesterday I marched in the Gilford ‘Old Home Day’ parade, with Devanee, for our friend, Lisa DiMartino who is running as a Democrat for a seat in the New Hampshire House (District 2: Gilford & Meredith).
I am, for all my shortcomings, a keen observer and follower of New Hampshire politics. The 2016 ‘Red–Blue‘ map will be DIFFERENT to that of 2012. It will be MORE RED!
I could be wrong, I HOPE I am wrong, BUT I do NOT think it is a given that Hillary Clinton will carry New Hampshire.
I agree that there is a HIDDEN Trump vote that is not reflected in the polls.
So those that think that New Hampshire is still ‘Blue’ could be in for a NASTY surprise.
Just a Heads Up.
