No surprises here.

I never trusted the Aussies. This was way beyond their usual Pay Grade.
Aussies, nice enough in their own way, are known for their brawn
not their brains.

Plus Tony Abbott was providing cover for the perpetrators.
Thanks to Abbott they got additional 2 months to nicely cover
up their tracks. Nice job Abbott. You must be chuffed.

Folks who consider themselves as ‘real’ Buddhists because they were born into Buddhist families (as opposed to Western ‘we are just in it for the meditation‘ Buddhists), especially in places like and Burma (or whatever they call themselves now) have become so virulently political, rabidly intolerant and pitifully insecure that they make medieval Crusaders who believed that it was “God’s Will” look like pacifists.

Yes, as an ex-Sri Lankan Buddhist I find the current intolerance of other religions and the overt involvement in politics very unsavory. I am glad that I am not a Buddhist. I would be ashamed if I was at what is going on in Sri Lanka in the name of Buddhism.

As a Brit who grew up with the U.K. Sun Page 3 and topless beaches toplessness in females do not phase me in the slightest. As I have maintained ‘after you have seen the first 10,000 they all look the same’ — and that was after spending many Summers on the beaches of Holland.

I do, however, wish that men with huge bellies would refrain from going topless because that really is offensive.

Given the very positive response that the ‘Topless Tour‘ has received — and we are still being foiled by the weather in New Hampshire — I thought it was ‘sad’ that we now have this unnecessary topless brouhaha.

To say that we are great advocates of breastfeeding would not really do justice to our deep seated belief in the benefits of this the most natural of mammalian activities. Lets just say that Teischan was breast fed for 27 months.

Yes, maybe they should have been a tad more tactful with the folks they picked for these Ads. They must know that just-given-birth females tend to be rather hormonal. But I applaud the motive. All babies should be breastfed.

What Brazil needs to do is to place a phone call to the Pope — Francis. Now that could get him into a pickle. Even the pope, whether Catholic or not, cannot have a problem with breastfeeding … right? Jesus, I assume, wa breastfed … though I guess that whole manger thing might suggest that they also had access to other milk. That Catholic MUST breastfeed should be Francis’ new platform. That would fix the problem once and for all.

Notice that Deanna had posted a question as a Comment 3 days ago and was waiting for a response.

So she e-mailed the SAU and got this response (quite promptly). So we now know who was on the Search Committee. I am so happy that they managed to keep ‘you know who’ away from it. If LaChapelle is on the Committee does it mean that he was not considered though the U.S. standards for these matters now stress that you don’t have to exclude yourself from consideration just because you are ON the Search Committee. Appears that Dick ‘dickey heart’ Cheney set the precedent for that having nominated himself when he was the Chair of the Shrub’s V.P. Search Committee.

So the ONLY outstanding item now is whether ‘they’ will be able to get their act together for Monday June 2nd.

Butchering the Poor English AGAIN.

This is on the ACS Website under SAU.

‘One-Two’ is a valid expression BUT only in the context of boxing.

Who writes and more importantly WHO approves this stuff?
It is bad enough that we have poor English from Board members.
I am sure that any of Alton’s in the main outstanding teachers would mark this as wrong if a kid wrote it.
So why do we allow the Administration to get away with it?
