I have been wearing the ‘Fitbit Inspire HR‘, 24×7 (bar short breaks for charging) since Friday, .

This was my short, pithy 1st-cut review. I will write a longer review once I have worn it for at least a week.

It is fun being able to evaluate this Fitness Trackers. I enjoy it.

Per Fitbit I Walked 7.7 Miles On My Crutches, Second-Week Post Knee Surgery.

I had my quadriceps tendon repair surgery,
at ‘Frisbie Memorial Hospital‘ —
performed by Dr. Charles Blitzer
of ‘Seacoast Orthopedics‘

I knew I was doing around 2,500-steps a day, as of Day #2 post surgery. I, of course, track — and of late even log — my steps. Yes, per Fitbit 2,500 is about 1-mile. Wow. I had NOT thought about it as such.

I have NO IDEA whether this is good, bad or indifferent when it comes to crutches. First time on crutches — ever.

It is still COLD in New Hampshire. Temperature did not go much above 38°F all day. So, not easy to go out and hobble about — though I did do that a couple of days. Getting bundleed up while on crutches is just complicated.

I am happy. I think this is not bad for a 35-year old cripple.

Just for comparison, this was March 2018.

I have been watching Vivo IPL 2019 on ‘Hotstar‘ on my Roku.

Watching ANY cricket on ‘Hotstar’ is extremely depressing & frustrating because they show the results in the program description! They can’t help it. ‘Hotstar’ is the most unprofessional and dishonest company in the known Universe.

They also have decided that 23-minutes is the optimum length for a highlights package. Oh, they are not too smart either. Just smart when it comes to dishonesty.

The cricket has been outstanding. Hotstar spoils it.

I have just learnt that the 2019 World Cup will be on Hotstar. Jesus wept. They will totally screw it up.

Donald Trump’s 2019 Nobel Peace Prize Just Fizzled Above Israel.

Fizzle!

Despite his belief that he has the ‘lock-in’ thanks to the SUPPOSED nomination by Japanese Prime Minister Shinzō Abe I am fairly certain he totally scuppered his chances today with the Golan Heights edict.

I guess he thought it was worth it.

Maybe he will get the Nobel Prize for Literature for his Twitter stream. That would be a consolation prize.

Reader’s Digest April 2019 Issue: Fascinating Story On How DNA Evidence Can Sometimes Be VERY Wrong.

Fascinating story. I never realized that DNA could be inadvertently transferred to a crime scene or even to the body of the actual victim.

In this story DNA got transferred via an oxygen-level testing oximeter used by EMTs. So, much for EMTs thoroughly sanitizing their equipment. The DNA found on the fingernails of a murder victim was DNA from a previous innocent patient that had had been treated by the same EMTs. They used the same oximeter on both. WOW. The poor innocent guy had been arrested and was languishing in jail.

Definitely worth reading.
