From the Wikipedia post as above. The ‘Blue’ was Thatcher’s Conservative Party. It was pretty much a landslide. I voted in ‘West End’ — to the NE of Southampton. I marked it on the map. It was a pretty BLUE area. {SMILE}


 

I do remember this. It was a big day. I voted. Made sure I did. Those days I never missed a chance to vote.

Wow. 38- years ago. Seems like a long time ago.
