Chinatown, Boston, For Chinese New Year 2017 — Sunday, February 5.

Barring a major blizzard we, without fail, go to Boston Chinatown, on a Sunday during the Chinese New Year for Dim Sum at the ‘China Pearl‘. During the last 4 – 5 years we have been going on the 2nd Sunday because that is when they usually have the dragon parades and fireworks.
Hence, today’s trip. Second Sunday. But, no parades, no fireworks. Supposedly NEXT Sunday. February 12. Never mind. We have seen the parades enough.
China Pearl was packed. Had to wait in line for 15 minutes. That hasn’t happened in years — and we go 3 -4 times a year, rather than just for New Year.
