As the above posts, especially the top 2, indicate we have been trying to keep an eye on what is happening re. the new principal for ACS because we, obviously, have a vested interest.

As the posts will show OR if you visit Alton Central Superintendent, William (‘Bill’) Lander’s blog June 2, last Monday, was supposed to be key goalpost day. Well, as you can also see June 2 came and went with nary a squeak from the often glibly loquacious Bill Lander. So Deanna e-mailed last night and told him that it was about time he updated his blog.

He did, today. And this is what it NOW says:

So what does this mean?

That Lander doesn’t have any specific information does NOT surprise me. He rarely does. So has the ball been dropped again?

What is this talk of an ‘INTERIM PLAN’?

Didn’t his last post say interviewing FINALIST.

So … what gives? Yes, I understand that this is a LOT of work for Lander and given his part-time schedule he just didn’t get around to it.

Interim Plan.

Is that to say that YET AGAIN we will have an Interim Principal?

The School Board, as they have so recently demonstrated with their totally uncalled for JMA ‘Fishing Trip’ on the heels of their ‘we didn’t know what we were voting for’ “Common Core” debacle, they are but a pathetic joke. It would be funny if not for the fact that it is so sad. AND I will be doing another post shortly — HUGE bullying case at ACS right now. Again this Board, as the minutes will conclusively prove, has been totally impotent on bullying.
