 Compelling YouTube video from 1944

This was the second time dear Churchill and FDR had met in Quebec (Canada) — just 11-months apart.

This September 1944 meeting was just 98-days after D-Day but Churchill knew that victory was ‘THEIRS’ — though it would be another 238-days BEFORE VE-Day. Nonetheless, Churchill and FDR discussed how and who would control areas of defeated Germany. But, who was MISSING. Uncle Joe (Joseph Stalin)!

From what I can piece together Churchill took the RMS Queen Mary to Canada — sailing a very southern route to avoid lurking German U-boats.

It was also his 36th wedding anniversary to Clementine.
