If we have no other plans, going out for a Chinese buffet for Thanksgiving has been a long family tradition. So the subject came up earlier this week. Since we had not been to Boston since May for Dim Sum I suggested we do that as opposed to a buffet per se. No complaints. Going to Boston Chinatown, to the ‘China Pearl‘, for Dim Sum has long been another family favorite. These two kids have gone to the ‘China Pearl’ as long as they can remember — and I have been going there for 30 years!
It was good. Packed — and it was ALL Asians. It was good. Traffic wasn’t bad until the very end. Dim Sum for Thanksgiving is good. Duck rather than turkey. I can take that. Turkey this weekend.
Walked to ‘Quincy Market‘ to see the Christmas Tree. That was fun. And that helped digest some of the food.
