This is beyond a joke. This borders on a crime — a crime against the children, parents and taxpayers of Alton, N.H.

There is only one word of worth in this whole sad statement. William (‘Bill’) Lander sure will be ‘ACTING’. That is all he ever does and he does even that badly.

This is a man that has admitted in public that he can’t chew gum and rub his stomach at the same time. He, as he has consistently proved at School Board Meetings, is continually confused. If you don’t believe me that he is always in a state of confusion check these, approved, . He is again made to apologize for misspeaking. 

So is Bill Lander who tried to wheedle an ‘off contract’ bonus and duped the School Board into hiring a friend as a $3,000 facilitator now going to get TWO salaries — and please do not forget he does NOT work full-time.

Is he going to be working full-time?

Why this sudden change when just a couple of weeks ago, Bill Lander, was telling us, in writing in his Blander Blog, that ‘the finalist‘ will be interviewed on June 2. We have the paper trail right here.

There is something not right.

If there were finalist why this sudden major about face?

Did Lander, as he did with the $3,000 facilitator appointment, engineer this just for his personal gain?

As I have said before Lander has the Board at HIS beck and call, rather than the other way around as it should be.

Is this really the BEST for the Alton kids, parents and taxpayers?

Mikel LaChapelle would have made a much better interim principal. Linda Wilman looks impressive too.

Compared to those two, Lander, despite his ample physical presence, pales in comparison when it comes to imbuing credibility. When was Lander last at an ACS afterschool event? Did Lander take part in the Winni-Walk last Friday? I don’t think so. He is too high and mighty to be seen with the kids.

Kids don’t like Lander. They find him, understandably, intimidating and officious. Kids like Mikel LaChapelle and Mrs. Willman.

This was a bad decision.

I am distraught IF you haven’t worked it out by now.
