Our Mail In Alton, N.H., Was Delivered At 8:05 PM By The USPS Mailman!

I am not complaining. I feel BAD for our mailman — who I consider a friend. He still had about 3-hours of delivery ahead of him! That meant he wouldn’t get home till close to midnight. That is crazy.

Yes, yes, yes. I know him. I know him well. Yes, he doesn’t normally finish his round till 7 or 8pm, but even for him this was LATE.

Appears that another Alton delivery person walked-out at 1pm. ‘Quit’ is what I was told.

We have had a lot of turnover.

I was expecting some copies of my latest meditation book, from Amazon, in the mail. Amazon said it was out for delivery. We had gone out for dinner and didn’t get back till 8pm. I checked the mailbox. No mail. So, I assumed my books had been delayed till the next day. Then I was out, with the dogs when I saw the headlights of the Jeep approaching. I knew immediately who it was. We talked. I told him to be ‘careful’. It is a tricky route — at night.

I hope they fix whatever the issues are at the Post Office. Nice crew — the last time I visited.
