Christopher Columbus Set Off On His First Transatlantic Voyage This Day 525-Years Ago; August 3, 1492, From Spain.
525 years ago! Wow. Quite sobering to think about that.
His first voyage never made it to MAINLAND America — North, South or Central! Many tend to forget that. Neither did his second voyage. And note that he never made it to North or South America — which is why they are called ‘America’ rather than ‘Columbia’ (or equivalent).

Donald Trump Told Mexican President, In January 2017, That New Hampshire Is A ‘Drug-Infested Den’.
His full statement to Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto, in January 2017, was:
“I won New Hampshire because New Hampshire is a drug-infested den,” he said.
Well, he won NH during the Primary BUT NOT in the 2016 General Election. Hillary Clinton won New Hampshire in 2016!
So …
But, to be fair to ‘Agent Orange’ New Hampshire does have a MASSIVE drug problem. So, let’s not get too distracted by this statement. We need to FIX the drug problem in New Hampshire. Period.

David Rockefeller’s Acadia, Maine, House At ‘Seal Harbor’ For Sale — For $19M.
A truly historic, iconic and charming place — well worth the $19M I think. It is all supposedly going to charity per the longstanding philanthropy of the Rockefeller family to the Acadia area starting with his father, the GREAT John D. Rockefeller who built the amazing Acadia Carriage Roads and the spectacular Lodges. See the family tree, that I augmented, below. I had to see it visually since I get confused as to which Rockefeller did what particularly so because there is also ‘David Jr.’ whose is still very active in the Acadia area.
While I have not seen the house I am very familiar with ‘the point‘ it is on. I visit it often since one of my favorite micro-hikes, the ‘Cooksey Drive Overlook‘ with its superb panoramic views, is there. This is an area with some of the most exclusive mansions of the area — including that once owned by Martha Stewart.
David Rockefeller died, three months short of his 102nd birthday, on March 20, 2017. This is was precipitated this sale his children not wanting it since they have other places around Acadia! It has to be nice.
