The First Tweet Was Sent On Twitter, This Day, July 15, 11-Years Ago — In 2006.
Twitter was founded on March 21, 2006.
But it was not available as a service until July 15 of that year. So, folks within Twitter did send out Tweets as of March 21 BUT the service only went live for us, the public, 11 year ago, today.

Rembrandt, The Great Dutch Master, Was Born This Day, July 15, 411-Years Ago — In 1606.

He is not in my pantheon of favorite painters BUT I do respect and admire his work — as one must. He sure had talent and knew how to use it. 411 years ago. Wow. That is a long time and makes you think. So much water has flowed under the many bridges in Amsterdam.

Acadia’s 151′ Schooner, “Margaret Todd”, Through The Superzoom Lens Of A Nikon P900.

These were all taken from the balcony of our room at the ‘Wonder View Inn‘, Bar Harbor during our June 25 — 29, 2017 visit, our 8th to Acadia in the last 3 years.
For the first time in my life, that I can remember, I travelled with 3 cameras: my Full-Frame Sony a7 II, my APS-C Sony a6500 and my Superzoon Nikon P900.
I took 99.9% of the 1,000+ pictures I shot with my two Sonys and you can find some of those pictures here.
Though I did take the Nikon with me in the van it appears I only used it from the balcony of our hotel room.
So here are some superzoom pictures taken with the Nikon P900. Also check those posted yesterday.
