Wow. This came as a shock. 65. I think that struck a chord. Same age as me but eight-months older.

Never met him and really never knew too much about him. Knew he was the real brains behind Microsoft and that he was a genuine philanthropist. Did NOT realize he never married or had any kids.

He always came across as a decent bloke. Nicer than Bill, I think.

Shame. All that wealth and it couldn’t save him from cancer. Eerily similar to Steve Jobs. What is it with this? Have you given it any thought?

It is the END of an era. PCs, Windows and Microsoft are no longer new or ‘recent’. They have all reached old age..
