Sri Lanka Gets Dragged Into ‘Cambridge Analytica’s’ Sordid Facebook Scandal!

the ‘Sri Lanka‘ part starts at the 9 minute mark,
i.e., nearly half the way through.

Sri Lanka is just being used here as a ruse — BAIT — as far as we can tell. But, we will never know whether ‘Cambridge Analytica‘ was involved in prior Sri Lanka elections or the ‘current’ one — in that elections are always on the cards in SL.

Kind of ironic that this is the 2nd time in a week that Sri Lanka and Facebook have appeared together in the same headlines. An unlikely duo.

Sri Lankans, from what I know, are unlikely to have needed expensive foreign help to ‘play dirty’ in elections. We seems to be very good at doing that on our own — with our own local touches, which involve (let’s just call it) bodily harm. Yes, politics are VICIOUS in Sri Lanka. It is certainly a blood sport.

But, cracked me up to see Sri Lanka getting mentioned on U.S. television. Wow. Fame again.
