Sri Lankan’s Use Fireworks To Rescue Elephant That Fell Into A Canal!

Few things of note here.
We Sri Lankans, as I have mentioned here often, have a special relationship with elephants. That has to be the first thing to take away from this story.
The second thing to take away is that we are very fond of fireworks and will find any excuse to use them.
Third, while we are noted for, and taking pride in, our sloth, we can be very resourceful.
This story captures all of that in one neat package.
This is the 2nd dramatic elephant rescue
