Using GoDaddy Office 365 ‘Professional’ E-Mail Rather Than The Old Workspace E-Mail.

The e-mail compose editor is considerably more powerful and professional than was was available with GoDaddy Workspace e-mail. Click to ENLARGE and study.
Monday, July 17, 2017, ten-days after I placed the order for the transition from the old , was my DNS cutover date for Office 365 e-mail. So that was yesterday morning.
It went through quite well. I wasn’t sure exactly at what time the DNS was going to get updated and as such was trying to use the new e-mail about 40 minutes too soon. No harm. All went well when the DNS was updated. As far as I can see all my e-mails, including those I sent and received just prior to the cutover, were migrated over.
Yes, after over 12-years of using Workspace e-mail, daily, I have to get used to the new system.
I think the e-mail system, i.e., the server, is provided directly by Microsoft, GoDaddy basically a ‘transparent’ conduit with a GoDaddy-branded logon page.
The new e-mail composing editor is a DREAM! Wow, at last the ability to attach multiple documents/pictures in one go and have images inline. It is a modern, full-capability editor. I am so thrilled.
I still don’t know whether this Microsoft system is going to be better when it comes to NOT losing incoming or outgoing messages. I was busy ‘today’ with visitors and haven’t used the e-mail much. But, I will keep you posted.
Stay tuned.
