‘Prepdog.org’ Is Great For Homeschooling — Just Make Sure You Are Using ‘Chrome’.

Though we are now homeschooling Teischan, I like her to take the same NWEA Testing, at year end, as she would have taken at school. That way there is never any misunderstandings, with anyone, as to whether she completed the year or did the appropriate testing.

One challenge of homeschooling is finding test preparation material — especially online and with automated, self-assessment.

I stumbled upon ‘prepdog.org’ this weekend and was delighted. It has a fair amount of tests and automated scoring — PROVIDED that you use Chrome. We found that out to our costs this morning. Teischan, on a Windows 10 PC uses . She was NOT getting the scores. I tried it on an Android Tablet and on one of my PCs and I would get the results, each time, with no problem. Then it dawned on me. Chrome. Downloaded and installed it, BINGO. Everything works.

So a heads up.
