USS Fitzgerald Officers Likely To Face Court Martial For Negligence For ACX Crystal Collision.

From the get go it was hard to imagine how the USS Fitzgerald, bristling with high-tech U.S. electronics, would not ‘see’ a HUGE container ship on a collision course.

Now it appears that various investigations are coming to the conclusion that the USS Fitzgerald was at fault — even leaving aside the ‘rules of the sea’ that says traffic on the right have priority.

So court martials would appear to be on the cards. Stay tuned.

Some were taken in our yard. The others with 1/4 of a mile. I didn’t go far. Today is my day-off from running. Took the dogs for their evening walk — along with my Sony a7 II. Kind of sad, some flowers are beginning to die and I know that we will not get anymore of them this Summer! Yikes. Summer is already winding down.
