The Disastrous Exxon Valdez Oil Spill Occurred This Day 28-Years Ago; March 24, 1989.
Remember it well since it was the BIG news story at the time my eldest daughter, Danielle, was being born.
So Danielle will be 28 soon. Wow.
The disgraced Captain of the Valdez, Joseph Hazelwood, lived in Meredith, New Hampshire, in the late 1990s, when I was also living in Meredith. Saw him once at the Meredith library but did not speak to him.
