This books is 100% valid. Read it.
The pope always had the option to retire. I, in particular, did not think he would ever exercise it. The last pope to resign was Gregory XII in 1415.
News reports are WRONG. At least 6 prior popes have resigned.
My Websites can’t keep up. This morning they were getting 50 hits per second. Managed to upgrade to 150 hits/second. Still exceeding that. I can’t get in to do any posts!
ABC News just called. A Canadian radio station interviewed me for 20 minutes.
GoDaddy is being wonderful. GoDaddy CEO is personally monitoring Website. They are going to do a 2nd upgrade!

Steve, I am torn. For the last year I have backed the Camerlengo, Italian Lord Bertone. But this resignation changes everything. Suddenly you have the possibility of term-limits on the papacy. Unheard of. So, they can now elect younger popes on the understanding that they will retire after 15 years or upon reaching 82. That gives Canadian Marc Ouellet a huge leg up. Though Canadian he has worked many years in Latin America. He is basically ‘Latin’ and much loved by the Latin Americans. Steve, check my pope blogs that you can access from the sidebar >>>
