Those that not that au fait with ‘footie’ (as we call it) have been slightly puzzled,
for good reason, as to the ‘shaving cream’ in the deservedly highly-popular
, Brazil v. Germany Google Doodle.
Well, I told YOU in my title for that Doodle.
It has to do with the taking of penalty kicks.
Now, to avoid transgressions, the referee marks
a ‘no go’ line behind where the players must stand.
They use a foam, not shaving cream per se, for that.
