It makes me LAUGH.
I am 67 & I do NOT have any low testosterone issues & SURE have no problem ‘raising the flag’. I have plenty of energy & I feel GREAT.
No wonder these clowns have issues. They each need to lose about 40 bloody pounds.
Have you noticed that most ‘middle aged’ & older men who play golf are FAT. Can’t be a coincidence. Cut the GOLF, some walk 8-miles (a day) with me. SMILE.
Yes, there was a Trulicity commercial too — and I objected.
I Am Not Watching ‘IPL 2020’ Because I Refuse To Subscribe To Indian ‘Hotstar’ — Which I Find Repulsive.
One of the worst outfits in the World.
They lie, they cheat & their coverage is HORRIBLE
in that they tell you the RESULT beforehand!
Nothing to do with costs. Everything to do with how much I despise, resent & abhor bloody Hotstar U.S.
I avowed that I would never subscribe to them again, & I am not.
Yes, I am missing out on ‘IPL 2020’. So be it. I watched a BIT of poor quality highlights on YouTube & realize I can live without it.
IPL without the crowds looks pretty flaccid.
I will wait for more new cricket on Willow TV. I might even TRY to like the CPL!
But, one thing is for sure. I hate BLOODY Hotstar U.S. Indians at their worst.
Live cricket starts again
on Wednesday, July 8, 2020.
Willow TV will have coverage.
Another, unforgivable, screw existing customers while trying to recruit new scheme. Yes, everybody tries it.
No, you can’t, if you are on the $10/month plan pick to pay $60, up front, and get 12-months. In a way, that is kind of crazy on Willow’s part. A punter is giving you $60 UPFRONT.
Well you know the solution. SMILE.
You have been told. No need to thank I. That is why I am here.
Usually I FF through all Ads. But, this one has got to me. I watch it. Sometimes even REWIND it!
Wanted to SHARE it with YOU. Check it out. I am sure you will enjoy — at least bits of it.
48 Matches, in total, May 30 to July 14 (Final).
Essentially a match day.
[Do NOT bother with Hotstar unless you are Indian or have a low IQ.]
I plan to watch the highlights of all 48-matches on Willow TV.
I was there at the 1979 & 1983 FINALS at Lord’s.
Watched 2015, 2011 & 2007 on TV.
So let’s get ready.
Today is the DAY.
Despite their poor performance in the warm-up game against Australia (on Saturday), I, like most of the professional pundits, think that England can pull this off. Nothing wrong with that. As a proud Brit I will, of course, rejoice. But, I don’t have an empathy with any of the current English players. They just seems so robotic.
On the other hand, I genuinely like quite a few of the South Africans. I have really got to admire and enjoy the South Africans over the last few years. They have usurped the West Indies, a team I ardently supported for over 40-years, as the team I look forward to watching and rooting for.
What I like most is their genuine, fondness for each other — irrespective of color or religion (given that they have white & black, Christians and Muslims). That team exemplifies what Nelson Mandela wanted for all of South Africa. I think part of my fondness for them is my devotion to Nelson Mandela. Supporting this South African team is like paying homage to Nelson. That appeals to me. Plus, some really exciting cricketers: Quinton de Kock, Hashim Amla, Lungi Ngidi, Kagiso Rabada … They all remind me of the West Indians that I should to adore.
Well, the 2019 World Cup hasn’t even started yet. So, a long way to go. But, it should be fun — especially with U.S. coverage available with Willow TV.
Hotstar has NO IDEA
about covering cricket.
Do not even TRY to watch the World Cup on it
unless you are Indian or are Intellectually challenged.
For a start they BROADCAST the final scores all over the place! So, before you get to watch a match — or highlights — you know the results. What is FUN?
I have said this before, I will say it AGAIN.
Do not part with ANY money to Hotstar for the World Cup. It will be a rip-off.
The World Cup is available, in the U.S., on Willow TV. Now that is a proper and dedicated cricket company.
Go with Willow. Give Hotstar the finger.
Oh, and Hotstar is crooked, duplicitous and dishonest.
So far, So good.
I watched it. Both the 7+ hour ball-by-ball (albeit but for 35 minutes) and the 1-hour highlights. They were BOTH in the polished, professional format that we have come to expect and love from Willow TV.
I checked the schedule. All the other matches are still listed.
Warm up game 2 is also there, I didn’t have time to even click it open. Sorry.
If there was going to be a problem we probably wouldn’t have got this 1st match.
So, I am delighted.
Having to watch the World Cup on the idiotic Hotstar would have been PAINFUL. So, glad I have been spared that misery.
I am NOT getting too excited and getting my hopes up.
Willow, as it did with Vivo IPL 2018, last year, could screw us again, at the last minute.
So, let’s wait and see.
It all has to do with what constitutes STREAMING. Bloody, despicable (Indian) Hotstar, the scummiest company ever, has the STREAMING rights for the 2019 World Cup — in the U.S. (just like it did for Vivo IPL 2018 & 2019).
Willow TV could only show the World Cup 2019 on TV — i.e., not streaming. You had to TRY and watch the World Cup on Hotstar’s pathetic coverage.
But, keep your options open.
I am LUCKY. I have Sling/Willow TV & Hotstar. So, I am covered. But, I would rather watch on Willow TV that bloody Hotstar.
I will, of course, keep you posted.
Willow TV did it AGAIN.
But, this evening they were ALL gone.
Yes, it appears that it all has to do with the definition of ‘streaming’.
Vivo IPL 2019 is available on Willow — BUT not on Roku/Sling!
Luckily I already had Hotstar.
So, now YOU know.
Already watched the highlights of Match 1. SMILE>
