Free Entrance To All U.S. National Parks, Including ‘Acadia’, This Veterans Day Weekend, November 11 – 12, 2017.

It is late in the season, but it should still be quite nice in Acadia — it ALWAYS is, by definition. I just checked the weather for YOU; it will be in the low 40s, BUT no rain! Yes, that will be a bit chilly but pleasant if you are bundled up.

Just a heads up.

I know that many think it is a SPORT to visit Acadia without paying the Entrance Fee. And I understand. But, the Parks can do with the money especially since they are under attack by ‘Agent Orange‘. This way you don’t have to avoid paying the entrance fee. You can explore for FREE — morally and legally. {Smile}

World War officially came to an end at 11 am Paris (France) time

on Monday, November 11, 1918, i.e., 11/11/1918.

“The 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month”.

That was when the ARMISTICE was signed.

Hence 11/11.
