Though she is now being homeschooled she wanted to continue playing flute with the ‘Alton Central School‘ (ACS) band. That is one of the neat things about homeschooling in New Hampshire. You can still freely participate in à la carte activities and even go to different classes of one’s choice. ‘Band’ was the only thing she wanted to do — and today was her Spring concert, at ‘Prospect Mountain High School‘. She had one. It was a good band concert.

This was her practicing for the concert, in the afternoon, on her trampoline.

Teischan & I Enjoying ALL The Snow We Got With March 2018 Winter Storm “Skylar”.

This is the most snow we have had with one storm in a LOG TIME! Definitely over 2 feet (24 inches).

But, we prevailed. Devanee did a fair amount of shovelling to get HER car out. This morning was my 4th go around. Teischan helps. Her main goal is to keep her trampoline clear and in this storm she had to shovel the trampoline three times!

But, we took some time off.

I did NOT take these using a motor-drive. To I there is NO fun doing that. To I the fun is trying to get the timing right. She does cooperate and tell me when she is going to start. Then it is up to I to try and get the timing spot-on. Of course I do not get it right each time. Of late I can get to about 50% and I am fine with that.

The end of Summer 2017 for I — never mind her! Usually by the middle of August she is ready and eager to go back to school. Not so this year. 5th Grade was an ‘issue’. She was real reluctant to go back and even tonight she is begging to be ‘homeschooled‘. That is not an option with her …

As some of you know I am NOT a morning person and her bus comes somewhere between 6:30 – 6:40am. But, for the last 7 years I do make an attempt to get up on her first day back. So, I did again this morning.

We were outside as of about 6:25am and the bus was a bit late (which was to be expected). So we had both trampoline and hula-hoop shows prior to the bus. That is always good. Lets her get rid of some early morning energy.

Now if she would just let me sleep till my normal 8:30 – 8:40 am tomorrow.
