No Wonder The Guys On The ‘Nugenix’ TV Ad Have Problems With ‘Performance’ — They Are FAT.

by Anura Guruge

I CAN’T, alas, escape this stupid & INSULTING TV commercial because it appears on the ‘Willow TVcricket channel, ad nauseum, with ‘FF’-disabled.

It makes me LAUGH.

I am 67 & I do NOT have any low testosterone issues & SURE have no problem ‘raising the flag’. I have plenty of energy & I feel GREAT.

No wonder these clowns have issues. They each need to lose about 40 bloody pounds.

Have you noticed that most ‘middle aged’ & older men who play golf are FAT. Can’t be a coincidence. Cut the GOLF, some walk 8-miles (a day) with me. SMILE.

Yes, there was a Trulicity commercial too — and I objected.

May’s 0.045399 was ‘about time’. NOIEX since its HUGE December 2014 distribution had been very light on the dividends. That the May dividend was 10 x that of April was telling.

But I am no longer convinced. I think NOIEX is struggling and that I have had it with it. I had meant to dump it BEFORE the May distributions. But with the book, the Jag and the trip to Arizona life has been a bit hectic — and as such, inexcusably, I have not spend as much time as I should working on my investments. Well, I will have to put that right.

So, this is just another heads up on NOIEX.

Following all of my coverage of NOIEX in December 2014, when we had that unprecedented and uncalled for $3.987 dividend, this blog has become a regular destination for those seeking genuine incisive information on this now moribund fund. So this is another post to keep you posted.

The April 2015 distribution, at $0.00446 per share, was, yet again, on the low side. 64% below the April 2014 distribution.

To help us all out I created this comparison chart. It, as you can see, is not that conclusive. I, however, continue to feel that NOIEX, post-December 2014, seems to be skimping on the dividends. For a fund that has ‘income’ in its name this seems incongruous.

But, to be fair, its overall performance is still fair. Not stellar, but it is hanging in there. Check out this from MarketWatch. The December ex-DIV NAV was $12.57. It has been up as much as $13.09. YOU definitely should keep a close eye on it. NOIEX is no longer a fund that you could buy and forget about — in the belief that it will quietly keep on doing what it should, i.e., doing reasonably well and generating some income. It definitely appears to have lost some steam if not its way. I am not ready to ditch it yet. It has served me well for a number of years. But, I check its performance rather carefully of late. OK? Hope this helped. If nothing else you won’t find this dividend comparison chart, in this easy to follow format, anywhere else. Enjoy.

Teischan is standing, RIGHTMOST, in the bag (at the back) waiting to skip out.

Teischan is the furthest RIGHT.

Teischan is the LAST one at the back.

You can’t hardly see Teischan. She is right at the back to the RIGHT. You can just see her left cheek.

We plan to get some better pictures when we attend the Wolfeboro
performance given that my Canon Rebel T3i, set at ISO 6400,
can take some decent shots without a flash

Teischan, in #2 t0 #4 above, took part as a Bon-Bon (as she also did last year) in both the Saturday and Sunday performances at Oyster River High School. Though we, of course, shuttled her their and back we did not attend either of those two performances. We go to one of the Wolfeboro performances because we consider that the ‘Home Game‘. So I only got to take pictures after the show. The very striking lady above is ‘Karen’, Teischan’s ballet teacher. She is also the one that you see, seated on the floor, in the ‘thumbnail’ image shown next to the links. I gather she used to be a talented and famous ballerina. I do not know her very well. But she kindly allowed me to take this picture. The two other girls above WANTED their picture taken and I was happy to oblige. They are so pumped after the show. Great stuff.

Well yesterday while Teischan was performing in Durham I bought tickets for all of us to go the ‘Nutcracker’ in Boston by the Boston Ballet. I will do a separate post on that. This is the funny thing about being in a show such as the ‘Nutcracker’ with such a large cast and umpteen acts. Teischan has never got to see the entire stage play. She just gets to see the act before the ‘Bon-Bons’ and the start of the one that follows. So she has only seen the entire show on DVD. Now she will get to see it, on a rather grand scale, on the stage.

I took in excess of 70 pictures of the parade, independent of the Clearlakes Chorale caroling ahead of the parade. I have all the pictures of the parade in two forms below: as an automated YouTube slideshow (video) with music or as a gallery. You take your pick. The YouTube slideshow is fun. You can, of course, look at BOTH. Enjoy.

We stumbled upon this very clever and guaranteed to be fun communal event after our Saturday morning ballet class in Wolfeboro, N.H. while waiting for the 2014 Christmas Tree Lighting and parade to start. I have to admit that it was the gingerbread lady that initially attracted me to the event. I wanted a picture of her. She kindly invited the two 8 year olds to participate. The rest is history.

Wonderful crowd inside. Realtors are always so convivial and one even mistook me for another ‘brown’ guy in Wolfeboro which kind of miffed me because I like being the only brown guy around. For the world of me I can’t remember if I have ever used Spencer-Hughes for any of my many real estate transactions around the Lake over the last 25 years. They all kind of blur into a jumble after a while. Got to meet the eponymous Mr. Robert Hughes (the President and Broker at the agency) and Fae Moore. Very pleasant people.

I gather this was an event that they had used to do and had fallen by the wayside for a few years. Glad they resurrected it. Kids loved it. Great way to get people to come into the office and get to know some of the people. Well done Spencer-Hughes.

Most Thursday nights for the last three years I had to take Devanee for Clearlakes Chorale practice in Wolfeboro, N.H. Didn’t mind at all. Gave me a chance to listen to the music and also get an hours walk, in the dark, around ever delightful Wolfeboro.

Now for the last couple of months I have to take Teischan to ballet classes in Wolfeboro Saturday mornings. Again I don’t mind. Yes, it means I have to get up a hour and hour ahead of my normal schedule but I would never begrudge that a child. While she is at class I use the hour for yet another walk, this time in daylight, around Wolfeboro. I love Wolfeboro. Have been going there since 1991. So never a hardship. Always fun. Always something to see. Something to learn. Today I really didn’t need to do an hours walk. I had done my usual 2.5 mile run Wednesday and had spent about 5 hours shoveling snow since then. But I did a leisurely walk, with the camera. Took some pictures. Devanee tagged along. That was good. We went back with about 5 minutes to spare. Managed to get these pictures.
