Made on Earth“, the iconic, landmark store in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire (the ‘Oldest Summer Resort‘ in the US), and I go back 25-years when I first started visiting them and getting to know the owners and their son. Well, last year, ‘Mary Beth’, the famous owner, asked me to help her with her Website. That was special. So, it is not often that I can visit Wolfeboro without stopping by “Made on Earth“.

That was also the case yesterday and in the Summer there is an added bonus. Mary Beth maintains an exquisite plot of earthly delights in from of her store. So, here are some pictures from Mary Beth’s “Made on Earth”. They were too delectable to be lumped in with my other pictures of ‘The Flowers of Wolfeboro — July 9, 2018‘.

Enjoy. If you are in Wolfeboro you really must swing by. It will make you smile, inside and out.

Back in, alway delightful, Wolfeboro, New Hampshire — the ‘Oldest Summer Resort‘ in the US within 72-hours of the last trip, this time for an orthodontist consult. [No, No. I am not getting braces.]  This time I explored other parts of town and inevitably there were flowers aplenty. So, here is a sampling. I took more but there is only so much I can post. I do have a specialized batch that I plan to post later. OK? Enjoy.

Wolfeboro’s 4th of July 2017 fireworks, which lasted about 40-minutes since they were individually hand fired, were ‘good’ — as one would expect from this affluent town, the ‘Oldest Summer Resort in America‘.

It was another perfect evening for fireworks, temps in the low 70s and no rain for miles. There was also a very bright ‘half’ moon — that you can see in some of the pictures, to the left.

We have been going to fireworks in Wolfeboro, either the 4th of July or ‘First Night‘ or both, for the last 10-years. They are invariably good, and typically better than those in our home town of Alton (which is not as ‘rich’ — Wolfeboro the home for such luminaries as Mitt).

We always watch these fireworks from a little hill, on the Brewster Campus, by the side of their main sports field. It is the perfect vantage point since the fireworks are set off directly in front, just a few hundred yards away.

It was fun, though getting out of Brewster proved to be a nightmare.

Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, the Oldest Summer Resort in the U.S., was 54% for Trump — though Mittens Romney has one of his many mansions, waterfront, in Town.

This sign that I spotted today says it all — including getting tickets from Blacks. That is about right.

In Wolfeboro, New Hampshire — the ‘Oldest Summer Resort in the U.S. — on Wednesday, November 25, 2015, Thanksgiving Eve. In the N.H. Liquor Store parking lot.

The Burgundy Jaguar XJ8 on the right is OURS.

The silver Jaguar belonged to a rather elegant lady who pulled up and parked opposite us — and did not even realize that there was another Jaguar there. It was a 2005 XJR.

I took this picture with my Panasonic Lumix FZ1000.
