YouTube Video below.
It is cute. Just 30-seconds.
What is REMARKABLE is that it was made by the “Jamaica Central Bank” (JCB) — their Government Agency responsible for their monetary policy. Their equivalent of the U.S. ‘Fed’.
I heard about this video on NPR’s ‘MarketPlace’. It intrigued I. I had to go find it. Then, I would have been remiss IF I didn’t share it with you.
Enjoy. Concentrate. You could learn a thing or two about inflation.
Check Category ‘investments‘.
I also share this with YOU (especially for those that have never heard “Christmas at King’s” before.
I was lucky to hear for of the 2019 Festival, on NPR, this morning, during my walk. Made my day.
So, I share with you, with great pleasure.
This is a painful and initially very-costly strategic decision by the Navajo. They have relied heavily on revenues from coal but it has also taken a toll on their health — and, alas, they are no longer the hearty and healthy folks they once were.
Navajo land is PRIME for solar farms. They have such huge tracts of SUN-BACKED open space, unused with no habitation for miles. So, this is good. I am glad and proud. I want the best for the Navajo. Such wonderful people (in general).
Not sure how they will cope with the transition. They really do need money. Poverty is widespread.
I happened to hear this on NPR (as in first image) yesterday and had to do a double-take. They are even talking of law schools closing down.
Law school enrollment & attendance really is down. Half of what it was a decade ago?
Who would have thought? Who would have credited? If anything you would think that more ‘kids’ wanted to be lawyers when they see all these rich & famous lawyers on TV.
Yes, it is not cheap becoming a lawyer. That is supposedly a factor. But, there is also the rewards.
I am surprised. I guess all the jokes about lawyers have finally come home to roost.
A U.S. with not as many lawyers. Wow. What is that going to be like. I can predict one thing. Their rates will go up even further. That, obviously, will cause the tide to reverse.
I will have to keep an eye on this. See who I know is planning to become a lawyer.
