Look real carefully — and I mean real carefully — and you will see that the black ‘bezel’ around the edge on the Fenix 6 is fractionally smaller than on the MARQ. That I guess is why the Fenix 6 is said to have a 1.3″ display vs the 1.2″ display on MARQ and the Fenix 5 Series.
I took these as I was unboxing the Fenix 6. I hadn’t charged it as yet. I haven’t charged it as YET! Sorry. Crazy busy day. Didn’t want to rush it. I do have a MARQ on my wrist. I want to ENJOY the whole process. Yes, of course, I will keep you posted.
Yes, I got the Fenix 6 Sapphire — as I have my last 6 Garmins — from ‘Heart Rate Monitors USA‘ (HRM USA). I do not deal with anyone else.

A very attractive, appealing smartwatch. Compelling from the moment you set eyes on it.
Was a breeze to pair it, update the software and set it up for use.
I had it 58% charged in 40-minutes. Nice long USB cable and the cradle fits well.
We have dual-band Wi-Fi, and as I knew beforehand, the Versa 2 only supports one of the bands. But, it found it quickly and connecting was not an issue. Again, first time in that I did not screw up the password.
Once, connected to Wi-Fi, again as I knew would be the case, it needed to download and install the latest version of software. Downloading (on what is a fairly high speed Wi-Fi network) took 4-minutes. Installation another 3. So, 7-minutes in total. Not bad. I have had 1+hour updates.
Setting up Alexa was also a breeze. Yes, I had to logon to my Amazon account. Connected first time.
The rest of the set-up was painless and easy.
I even managed to turn-on the ‘Always On’ display. Pretty basic, but gives you the essentials.
So, so far, so good.
I am happy. I am impressed.
They, HRM USA, is having a Fitbit Versa 2 GIVEAWAY.
Search ‘Garmin’ & ‘Fitbit’.
Yes, I am a lucky old man. I know that.
But, I have to sing for this supper — or at least work for most of it.
I have to evaluate them and write three reviews. Not exactly back breaking work, but work nonetheless.
And I do take it seriously.
I do test these quite rigorously. I take notes, create spreadsheets, make videos. So, it is not just a walk in the park.
Well, I better start WORK. No rest for the wicked.
WIN A FREE ‘Fitbit Versa 2’ Smartwatch From ‘HRM USA’, My Favorite (Actually ‘ONLY’) Smartwatch Vendor.
This is a genuine deal.
I do, and have for the last 2-years.
They are just amazing. So, customer-focused. You always come first.
Yes, I have done so much business with them that we are friends — BUT, as some of you know, I am very fussy and finicky about who I consider a friend. So, that alone should tell a story.
Give this a go. What have you got to lose?
You could end up winning a nice, new Fitbit Versa 2.
The New Garmin Forerunner 945 Is NOT As Yet Listed On Amazon.com, Not Available At Garmin & HRM USA Is Out Of Stock.
I had heard a rumor that HRM USA was expecting a few units in on Tuesday, April 30, 2019. There are also three people, on the Garmin Forums, claiming that they are getting Forerunner 945s from HRM USA between Wednesday and Friday of this week. This is not atypical. They also got Garmin Vivoactive 3 units ahead of anybody else.
HRM USA is currently out of stock. So …
A Meme That Clearly Depicts The Dangers Of Drinking (Non-Diet) Soda — From ‘Heart Rate Monitors USA’.
This was on Facebook today from my friend’s at ‘Heart Rate Monitors USA‘.
One picture is worth 4 pounds of sugar.
Wow. Quite the message.
I am glad I don’t drink soda, and never did. Red wine is my poison.
I am on a low-carb diet. So, I, on the whole, stay away from sugar.
Search on ‘sugar‘.

This was my short, pithy 1st-cut review. I will write a longer review once I have worn it for at least a week.
It is fun being able to evaluate this Fitness Trackers. I enjoy it.
