Thanks to ‘HRM USA‘ I have been able to enjoy every single Garmin Fenix model since the ‘5’. Yes: Fenix 5, Fenix 5 Plus, Fenix 6, Fenix 6 Pro & now the Solar. SMILE. I am lucky, & I know it. They even got me a Garmin MARQ Explorer — though, to the amazement of both sides, I asked them to exchange it for a Fenix 6 Pro!
I have asked for this new Titanium model. That was the one lasting impression from the MARQ. I am hooked on titanium. It looks different. Not sure about the blue, but it sure will be different too.
Of course I will keep you posted.
Father’s Day Specials.
Quite the deal.
Refurbished from HRM USA is pretty much like NEW.
They take great care with their refurbishing — & their Customer Service is the BEST in the Universe.
Check them out.
When you are ACTION MAN you need multiple Multisport Smartwatches to keep track of YOU, even if one them happens to be as powerful as the Garmin Fenix 6. SMILE.
So, here we GO.
Talk about covering all your bases.
So, here we go. I quite literally just strapped it on. I haven’t done any steps with it. Plus, today is my day off, i.e., no 4.5-mile walk in the morning.
I will start putting the Polar Grit X through its paces starting in the morning. Stay tuned.
I like it. SMILE.
I have raved about the Fitbit ‘Versa 2’ — more than once. Prior to the recent arrival of the Fitbit ‘Charge 4’, it was EASILY the BEST Fitbit ever. Now it has to share that title with the ‘Charge 4’ — but the ‘Charge 4’ is a BAND rather than a smartwatch per se.
So, I could say, Fitbit ‘Versa 2’ — Fitbit’s BEST smartwatch EVER.
$148.95 is quite the price. Good discount. Get one.
When you are as active as I just one activity tracker, even one as powerful as the Garmin Fenix 6. SMILE.
My friends at HRM USA (and they are good friends, indeed) asked me to checkout the new Fitbit Charge 4. A ‘year ago’ I said “no more Fitbits. I will get wife to check them out. I will only do Garmins“. But, they are very nice. So, I relented.
With Fitbit the first thing I check is STEPS.
So, so far so good.
I like it. SMILE.
‘Heart Rate Monitors USA’ Still Offering Some Of Their Insane ‘Cyber Monday’ Deals; E.G., ‘Fitbit Versa 2’ For $129.
They also have the venerable Garmin Fenix 5 at $299.99. That is quite the deal. I hate to think what I paid for my Fenix 5 — albeit nearly 2-years ago.
Still 8-days left before Christmas. HRM USA will get it to you within 2-days. So, you have time.
‘Fitbit Versa 2’, Best ‘FitBit’ Ever, $129 For ‘Cyber Monday’ @ ‘Heart Rate Monitors USA’ — That Is INSANE.
That is INSANE. $129 for a FitBit ‘Versa 2’ which was $199 a week ago. A 35% markdown on what is still a new watch and the TOP of Fitbit’s line.
Get IT. Get it. If you are in the market for a smartwatch get this. You will NOT regret it.
If you are in the U.S., just go to HRM USA. Only place to get Garmin, Fitbit or Polar. 45-day returns, UPGRADE plans and AMAZING service & support.

The Garmin MARQ Explorer I returned to get the Titanium Fenix 6.
So, I now have two Garmin Fenix 6 Pro Sapphires — latest in Titanium and the other in Black DLC. Yes, I like the Fenix 6. SMILE.
I like the Fenix 6 so much that I returned a Garmin MARQ Explorer to get the Titanium one!
Here is the ironney (and possible even sadness). The TWO Fenix 6s together, even with one being Titanium, costs less than the MARQ Explorer. That is sobering. But, having worn two I liked the Fenix 6 better. I am not new to Fenix. I have owned a Fenix 5 and a Fenix 5 Plus.
The Fenix 6 display is head and shoulders better than that on the MARQ. The display is noticeably blacker (like with AMOLED) and brighter. Once you get used to the Fenix 6 display the MARQ looks washed out and pale! The software also is more reliable.
The Fenix 6 Titanium is JUST the bezel and maybe the back. The body is plastic. That is disappointing. The MARQ Explorer was all Titanium and, as the image above shows, had more presence. But, that is ‘OK’, I wasted too many hours getting the MARQ to go back to my watch face and do what it was supposed to do.
With the new maps released earlier this week there was a lot of software that had to be downloaded to my Fenix 6. Garmin Express had some issues. I had to do it twice — on two separate PCs, but in the end I got it all loaded and squared away. Good job I had a bit of experience with Garmin. SMILE.
Talking of which I do maintain an Excel Spreadsheet of all the smartwatches that pass through my hands given that I go through a fair number a year. This is today’s cut.
Yes, I got the Fenix 6 Sapphire — as I have my last 6 Garmins — from ‘Heart Rate Monitors USA‘ (HRM USA). I do not deal with anyone else.
