Today’s is my ‘day off’ from exercise. My routine, for decades has been 3-days on, 1-day off. Well today is that day off, though after 4-days, rather 3. Today, I will only walk around 4-miles — as opposed to my usual 7-8 miles. Yes, I am slacking. Well, so today, I didn’t go far. Also meant that I could take my ‘heavy’ Canon EOS RP rather than my phone. So, all these pictures are within 1/4 mile of our house. My own personal foliage. I, known for my generosity, am sharing it with you for FREE. Enjoy.

Pittsfield, which is not far from Concord, every year, has spectacular foliage and decent vantage points from which to take in sweeping views. Pittsfield, luckily for us, is but ‘next door’. But, once a year we also go apple picking at ‘Appleview Orchard‘ and I know, before I even get there, that I will be able to get a ton of good pictures. Yesterday was no exception though I didn’t have decent light. But, it was still OK. Enjoy.

5:59pm, Concord ‘Steeplegate’ Shopping Mall. You can see the ‘Talbots’ sign in the background. Saw this when I came out. Sun was setting and was low on the horizon. Tree was also lit by a sodium light at the back. You can see that at the top.

UNTOUCHED. No exposure adjustment. Point and click. My Google Pixel 2.

You can’t escape it. It is everywhere and all over. There is an abundance, bordering on superfluous. Yes, I am blasé though I try not to be and make a point of stopping to smell the roses and take a picture or a dozen. Well, that fact that I take this many pictures is proof alone that I do appreciate it. Well, I spend more time outside, walking, in the woods, than most. So, I do get to see a lot. I am not complaining. Soon it will be all gone. I know that.

I did not go for a long walk yesterday. It was my day-off. I have a system; three-days on, one day off. The foliage seems to have peaked within the last 48-hours. We also had 24-hours of light rain. That refreshed everything and the light wasn’t as harsh. It was pretty amazing. All within EASY walking distance of home. So, I don’t have to drive around to see foliage. Just walk. Enjoy.

Both of these are from our yard. I see the foliage shown on top from my bed. That is what I wake up to these mornings. Not bad. The other from taken from our deck. It was raining today. That put a sheen on the leaves and gave me a less harsh light to shoot these with. Enjoy.
