I think it will just about clear the tree line. This is just after 6am. Sunrise is not until ~7:15am. So, plenty of time.

Not for I. I will still be in bed. But, wanted to make sure that you early risers knew of this. Enjoy. Let me know what it was like.

A Brilliant Mars – Moon Conjunction Over New Hampshire, Saturday, June 30, 2018.

The Moon does not rise above our trees till around 11:30pm. So, you have to wait for that. Gets better later it gets. Really cool around 1am.

You will still be able to see Mars and the Moon tomorrow (Sunday) and for a couple of days further. But, the Moon will NOT be as fool.

Mars is at a 15-year CLOSENESS, i.e., it hasn’t been this close to Earth in 15-years. So, it is unusually BIG.

Try and catch it. It will be worth it.

Venus-Jupiter Conjunction Over New Hampshire, Monday, November 13, 2017 — Clouds & Trees!

Clouds could be a problem. Supposed to be cloudy all day, starting early.

The conjunction will also be low-down (i.e., close to the horizon) and as such, IN NEW HAMPSHIRE, could be obscured by our trees, even if they don’t have any leaves anymore.

Saturn is the smaller and closest to Moon (at left). Jupiter is further out.

It will be visible till well past midnight and will be hard to miss.

The conjunction will be around for a few days, before it starts to drift apart.

Weather permitting this should be quite the conjunction — best seen around 7pm.

The moon is set to set around 8:20pm and more than likely the trees will start getting in the way around 7:30pm.
