Great Article About Giuseppe’s (Meredith) & The Owner Julie Gnerre-Bourgeois.
Happy 30th Birthday
Giuseppe’s.
Congratulations & THANK YOU!

I have been singing their praises for YEARS.
How I met Julie 22-years ago.
In case you are interested. Cute story.
This is so, so GREAT. Made my day when I saw it. So, well deserved. By FAR our favorite eatery anywhere on Lake Winnipesaukee. My now 18-year old daughter insists on going there for her birthday for at least the last 10-years. Plus, I have attended at least 22 of the to-date 25 annual JTG musical extravaganzas. I have been going there since 1997, if not 1996 — that been when I discovered Meredith.
Thank YOU, Julie. Thank YOU Michael. Thank YOU the staff.
You have nourished, entertained and treated us, right royally, for so many years.
Here is to the next 30-years. Cheers.

I think these pictures tell their own tale. No additional words required. Enjoy.
JTG 2019, as was expected, was just GREAT. Sublime.

25th JTG Music Extravaganza, Giuseppe’s, Meredith, May 5, 2019: The Spirit & Magic — YouTube Video.
Just one 4:48 minute video, taken around 10pm, that attempts to capture the soaring spirit and magic of JTG 25 — 2019 at Giuseppe’s in Meredith.
This was Mike Loughin (on right, blue shirt), Joey Gnerre (piano) and friends.
I only made this one video. Taking close up stills is my thing. So, photos to follow.

Initial heads-up. As with last year 2019 JTG will be in May rather than in April, Sunday, May 5, 2019 to be precise.
As always this should be a blast, and I should know. I have been to at least 22 of the 25 JTGs over the years.
I will keep you posted. Stay tuned.

As with the amazing scarecrows, this too was a serendipitous discovery in Chester, New Hampshire, on Sunday, October 28, 2018, on our way to an estate sale.
It is relatively new — i.e., built in 2011. We were in Chester around that time to pick up Maya. Don’t think we noticed it then. Maybe it was still being built.
Very picturesque. Nice job. Another kudos to Chester. Obviously a justifiably proud town. Bravo.

We stumbled upon this extraordinary display of creativity, historicality & bonohime, serendipitously, on our way to an estate sale in Chester, New Hampshire, on Sunday, October 28, 2018.
It was certainly different and worth lingering over. And that we did, on the way back from the sale. We stopped at the Town Center and got out and walked — taking these pictures.
Appears that it is a yearly tradition — and I assume that it is time to coincide with Halloween. How cool. Bravo Chester. Kudos Chester. It is a lovely town. We do have an association with the town though I only recalled it when we were driving through. We got Maya, from Chester, in 2011. So, we have an emotional connection with Chester.
Definitely worth going to see, though I suspect, alas, that all the rain we have had over the last few days, including today, would have taken a toll — though the beauty of their design is that they appear to drain well.
Hats off to Chester. Great job. Very clever.

Another OUTSTANDING JTG. It is just amazing. Such a wonderful, warm, fun evening.
Very rewarding and fulfilling both in terms of food, music and bonohime.
We had reservations at 7pm. Usually that is when we leave. But, now Teischan is older and being homeschooled to boot. So, we could stay later. That was good because the acts we like, and have enjoyed over the years, have got pushed back later-and-later as new acts are added earlier in the day.
So, we got to see and listen to our perennial favorites — and they are listed above and below.
We were there till past 9pm when Michael Bourgeois finished his set.
So here are SOME of the pictures I took.
With SINCERE apologies to Rick Page. I just couldn’t reach you behind the drums. Sorry. I TRIED. Honest.

Initial heads-up … MAINLY because the JTG, normally held in April, has been pushed back to May because one of the key Bourgeois family members is serving abroad — ‘Bourgeois’, of course, referring to Julie Gnerre-Bourgeois, as in the owner of Giuseppe’s and the daughter of ‘JTG’.
I will keep you posted. Stay tuned.
As always this should be a blast.

Looks interesting.
This is the ‘First in the Nation‘ Dixville Notch which always gets its 15-minutes of glory whenever we have a State Primary or a National Election.
It is UP THERE, way up there. I have never been that far north within New Hampshire! They might still have snow up there.
First Annual. So, it is the first. As such I can’t say I have ever been to it.
Thinking about it. Just wanted to make sure you knew about it.
