(Catholic) Cardinal Elector Demographics Snapshot — February 22, 2021.

I am getting serious about working on the ‘Next Pope‘ — i.e., Pope Francis’ successor.

The way I work I need a good Excel spreadsheet of the Cardinal Electors so I can slice-&-dice various criteria. I used to have a ‘magical’ spreadsheet of the whole College, chock-a-block with data. But, I let it lapse.

It was too much work to get it up-to-date. It was easier just to create a smaller, simpler spreadsheet, this time just restricted to the Cardinal Electors. I did that over the last few days. You can see a fragment of it above. Now that I have it I can give you INSTANTANEOUS demographics. It is all automated.

We will have an elector, Cardinal Wako, aging out this Saturday. We will then be down to 127 electors — still 7 ABOVE the 120 permitted at a conclave. Cardinal Napier will age out 2-weeks later. But, we, barring deaths, will not be down to 120 till April next year. SMILE.
