That Was Quite The Snowstorm (‘Gloria’, I think) — & Glory Be We Got 20″ (0.5m) Of Snow.

It was much, much more than they had forecast. They assured us that it was a Southern storm, i.e., most of the snow would be gone by the time it got as far North as us.

They got it wrong. We got about x5 than they had told us. Yes, they had various excuses.

It was a LOT of snow. Quite frightening in its volume BUT quite beautiful. In the end we managed. Glad of that.

HUGE Snowstorm Is NOT Going To Stop My Walking … 17,000+ Steps/Day, 500,000+ Steps/Month.

It was a LOT of snow, at least 20″ (0.5 meter). But, that was NOT going to dent my walking streak. I have walked more than 10K steps, a DAY, without a single break, since April 17. 244-days & during that time I had two cataract surgeries. Still got my steps in even on those days. Doctor knew it. He was all for it.

So …

Then, with the help of my two daughters (14 & 20, we cleared the drive. SMILE.

So much for cash being king!

Wow. I have never heard of such a thing — & I have yet to find anyone else who has encountered this either.

I spoke to a friend who owns a car dealership. He thought I was pulling his leg. He, like so many others, will give you a discount for cash. When I bought one of my Jaguars, from a dealer, they would ONLY accept cash — & I mean cash as in $$$ bills!

This is crazy. Just tells you how much they must make from their FINANCING! Wow.

Plus, you have to finance at least $5,000. Stupid. Crazy.

No, I am not going to deal with them. SMILE.
