The CBS interview of Sunday, November 15, 2020.

I guess that answered my question from 5-days ago. But ….

He did say: “Biden doesn’t need any advice …. BUT I will help in any way …

I think we will see more of him. He & Biden are close. Biden will have no problem having him around.

Poignant ‘Hymn’ To Combat COVID-19 ‘Isolation’ By Welsh Legend & Treasure, ‘Max Boyce’.

by Anura Guruge

I had an urge for some ‘Max Boyce‘ MAGIC tonight & went looking through YouTube.

Saw this. I had NOT heard of it & obviously NOT seen it.

It is blinking beautiful. And it talks about MY SWANSEA.

Please watch it. It will do YOU a power of good.

Max & I go back 50-years. I grew up on Max. And yes, as some of you know, next to cricket, rugby is my other sport.

For those of YOU (alas) who are not familiar with Max Boyce let me please share two of my favorites. Very different, but they show you what Max can be. Please check him out on YouTube. You will NOT regret it.

Alton (NH) Property Tax For 2021 Is Up 11.5%, But Lower Than It Was In 2019!

by Anura Guruge

As soon as I saw the property tax bill today (which was late (by the way)), I knew at once that the rate had gone up. My payment was up close to $500.

So, I checked my past bills. It sure had gone up compared to last year; 13.95% vs 12.51%,

But, I was surprised & humbled to see that it had been 13.99% in 2018. I checked what I had paid that December. It was a tad higher than what I owe next month. Smile. C’est  la vie.

So to I, the question is not why did it go up this year — but why did it GO DOWN the year before.

Next year, with COVID, things could be very different. Just a thought.
