September 16, 2020 UPDATE — shortage CONTINUES. (click)

Went to Walmart (Rochester, NH) this past Sunday, August 16, 2020. Yes, among other things I needed FIBER. I was willing to get straight Psyllium Husk Powder (e.g., Konsyl). But, the shelves were NOT bare. Looked like we were back to normal.

They had my Walmart-brand, 114-teaspoon full ‘NO SUGAR‘ bottles. I was happy. I got 1 bottle.

Don’t ask me why — methinks it is the GRINDING — but I think Metamucil, at least with I, works better than Psyllium Husk Powder. Kind of counterintuitive. Should be no difference — or, if anything, the Psyllium should be better.

Well, Psyllium was more expensive too.

So, didn’t see the point. SMILE.

So, I think the Metamucil shortage is OVER. At least from my experience.

I’ve tried everything, but Metamucil coarse, stone-ground, unflavored is the only product that’s ever worked for me. Our Walmart is out as are CVS, Walgreen’s, Rite-Aid, Kroger, Safeway… just kind find any.
