I grew up in Ceylon, in the 1950s & 1960s, seeing the 10-20 minute ‘British Pathe‘ newsreel each time we went to ‘the films‘.

It was MY precursor, all those decades ago, to today’s CNN & MSNBC.

So lots of nostalgia when it comes to deal ol’ ‘British Pathe‘.

PLUS, they are plugging the railroad documentaries they have. Have to watch this.

Right now, with LIVE cricket back, I do NOT have the the time. But, the 1st lull in the cricket … Here I come. SMILE.

Enjoy. This should be good.

Yes, I will get it on my Roku. That is what makes sense for I.

Being the news junkie I am, I saw a clip of this on some channel.

I was IMMEDIATELY struck by the lack of masks — since this was within 24-hours of Trump touting masks.

What amazed me was that the news channel (I was watching (which was probably CNN or MSNBC)) did NOT point out the absence of masks.

Check it out.

This is so CRAZY.

TWO GOOD Pictures Of Comet NEOWISE (i.e., C/2020 F3), July 24, 2020, Over New Hampshire As It Bids Farewell.

This was the 4th time I got to see Comet NEOWISE (C/2020 F3).

I also saw it last Friday (July 17), this Monday (July 20) & this Tuesday (July 21).

Wow. It is fading fast! Yes, still naked-eye visible & I saw it within seconds of getting out of our Nissan van. But. I was in ‘total’ darkness. No ambient light.

This time I had my ‘new’ Panasonic ZS200 all set up for a 10″ exposure & even tripod mounted. Much easier if you do this at home.

It will cease to be naked-eye within days. It is hurtling away.
