When we visited THE MUSEUM last year — exactly a year ago today — I was totally blown away by every facet of this lovely, amazing & beautifully maintained museum. Kudos. Bravo. Their flower display was a work of art worthy of a top-notch botanical gardens. I raved about it last year … see below.
Yesterday, on our way to hike Mount Kearsarge I made a point at stopping at this lovely museum. YES, IT IS OPEN. Alas, we didn’t go in. Both of us, I due to my age, are classed high-risk. So, we are doing our best to be responsible. Visiting an intimate museum didn’t, alack, fit the criteria.
But, we enjoyed the flowers & had a lovely chat with one of the volunteer gardeners.
The gardens are not as immaculately maintained as last year — for obvious reasons (& the heat wave has not helped).
But, it was LOVELY.
