These pictures really don’t do it justice. I have to figure out how to get the best lighting. Not as easy as it may sound. The lights reflect off the paint!
It is blinking beautiful. Not finished yet. She has taken a few days off.
I will keep you posted. SMILE.
I was at least 4-hours AHEAD of the pack. As soon as I heard that Garmin had been down for a ‘few’ hours I suspected a HACK. It was much, much later that others cottoned onto this & the rumors of the ransomware surfaced.
I am, however, still NOT convinced.
Being the professional cynic that I am (& a pioneering hacker from the early the 1970s) I have doubts.
What if the supposed ransomware is BUT a ruse to cover up a MASSIVE hack. Yes, the files & data has been encrypted per ransomware, BUT what if they sucked up all the data beforehand.
I am convinced, rightly or wrongly, that we are headed for a major cyber war with China. I think China is trying out their technology & tactics all over the place, Australia in particular. I have a theory that this could be China trying it out on a medium size US company — though I think many of the Garmin servers are in Europe.
Then again, it might be Google! Remember they are in the process of buying up FitBit. Plus, they are HUNGRY for fitness/health data. By hacking Garmin they get access to millions of active users!
Think about it.
P.S., I am a Garmin shareholder, & yes, I sold some of my GRMN shares today, on the news. SMILE.

When we visited THE MUSEUM last year — exactly a year ago today — I was totally blown away by every facet of this lovely, amazing & beautifully maintained museum. Kudos. Bravo. Their flower display was a work of art worthy of a top-notch botanical gardens. I raved about it last year … see below.
Yesterday, on our way to hike Mount Kearsarge I made a point at stopping at this lovely museum. YES, IT IS OPEN. Alas, we didn’t go in. Both of us, I due to my age, are classed high-risk. So, we are doing our best to be responsible. Visiting an intimate museum didn’t, alack, fit the criteria.
But, we enjoyed the flowers & had a lovely chat with one of the volunteer gardeners.
The gardens are not as immaculately maintained as last year — for obvious reasons (& the heat wave has not helped).
But, it was LOVELY.
