My New ‘Garmin Fenix 6 Solar’ Side-By-Side With My Old ‘Fenix 6 Pro Titanium’.

The SOLAR is on the RIGHT.
The solar, on the RIGHT on three of these, is a bit chunkier — which I guess was to be expected. Not so much wider, as noticeably taller.
I do NOT like it! The white is STUPID. Ugliest watch I have ever encountered. I am embarrassed to wear it. I kid you not.
I got it because it was TITANIUM & it was the model Garmin was featuring in its writeups. But, it is BUTT UGLY. Yikes. That was a mistake. Why don’t I return it. Because it was basically given to I — & I don’t look a gift horse in the mouth. BUT, if YOU WANT a real, real, real good deal on a hardly used Fenix 6 Solar let me know. SMILE.
So, that is my take. SMILE.

It is both funny & frustrating trying to CONFIRM my identity to my phone when I am wearing a face mask!
The timing could NOT have been worse for Google. Even they would not have been able to predict that face masks would be in vogue in mid-2020.
Yes, most of the time I can keep my Google 4 ‘unlocked’ due to its proximity to my TRUSTED Garmin Fenix 6 smartwatches.
The problem arises when I try to use ‘SMART PAY’. And ironically that is also related to the COVID-19 pandemic. I would rather not touch credit card readers.
But, the phone, for good reason, needs you to verify that it is indeed you trying to use ‘Smart Pay’. Therein lies the problem.
I have NOT been a fan of ‘face recognition’. It works BUT it always seems finicky. Touch-and-go. I much preferred the fingerprint reader. I will HAVE to get a Pixel 5 just for that. SMILE. Well, I will keep you posted.

He had been following me at a distance.
The powerful LED headlight I wear caught its eyes just about when I was leaving our driveway.
They were VIVID green. The eyes of deer are yellow. This was close to the ground. I thought it was a cat. I saw it cross the road. Looked like a cat.
It then followed I! SMILE.
Saw its eyes again. It was much closer. Got him in my headlight.
Took this picture using the Google Pixel 4’s amazing ‘Night Sight‘.
Been quite the Summer: bears, bobcat, deer & now a fox.
