Modern day “To Kill A Mockingbird“.

Yes, ALAS, the same story, different characters — young, BLACK lawyer, Bryan Stevenson — but, fortunately, a different (better) ending. Ironically, the movie, which is BASED ON TRUE STORY, includes real references to ‘Mockingbird’ (which also happens to be set in Alabama).

What a story! So disturbing. So topical.
