Coronavirus COVID-19 Death Rates Vary Significantly By State — New Hampshire Doing Quite Well.

One thing is obvious. Death rate is higher when a State gets inundated.
That explains New York.
People are dying because they are not getting adequate care. Scary.
I am semi-numerate and could tell, at a glance, when it appears on TV, that the New Hampshire death rate was WAY BELOW that of New York. Drove me crazy that nobody was showing the percentages. So, I did it. I didn’t do it for all the States. Hence the gaps … indicated by black rows.
States with low cases — for now — have less deaths because they have the resources to treat the patients better. Pretty self-evident.
So. Thought you might find this interesting.
These numbers STILL REALLY mean NOTHING
since they are CONTINGENT
on the % of people TESTED.
They are ONLY meaningful IF enough people are tested.
