I feel bad. Folks that just do not understand the bad karma. Never mind.
Anyone who knows I, knows my total & utter aversion to German bloody (quite literally) cars.
Today’s HUGE Roadblock.
From the other side, when I managed to get around.
This is the path leading to Alton town’s main park and for that to its much ballyhooed public trail. Appears that no one other than I wanted to venture out in the last 48-hours. I am kind of disappointed. This is New Hampshire and it hasn’t been that bad in terms of cold or snow.
So this was what I was trying to get to — and, of course, I did. Didn’t try to climb over the mound of snow. Wasn’t worth it. Instead, I walked around it.
This was last week’s roadblock.
And this was the week before.
I guess it is fair enough. Some of the motions do have some similarities (and being a Brit I do know that ‘cycle’ used to be a derogatory term for describing someone with ‘loose’ morals).
I have never seen this before and I apologize if it is old news. It was new to I. No, no, not having sex BUT seeing Garmin thinking that I was cycling. The issue here being that I had NEVER looked at this page before.
I am 67 and have a fairly low heart-rate, with my resting heart rate at around 48. So, I never bother to look at the daily chart. I check my RHR in the morning to see if I am still alive and sometimes that is in doubt with the Garmin either showing no pulse or readings around 38. Then, I do glance at the HR when I am walking/jogging or using my stationary bike. Well, I am going to be looking at this screen more often. [And, I am reasonably fit, for an old guy.]
Well I happened to look at this screen last night and saw the green bike icon and the ‘cycling’ activity. Didn’t realize what it was for a second. [Yes, at 67 the brain doesn’t work that quickly.] Then I put 2 and 2 together. Aaahhhh.
Cycling. OK, I will buy that.
OK, I blurred out the HR readings. My wife probably won’t be thrilled that I am sharing that level of data — THOUGH she was the one who told me I should write a book about ‘orgasms’ (which I did do).
But, this has also got me thinking. Those of you who SHARE your data better be CAREFUL! You could have folks asking you what you were doing cycling at midnight. Enough said.
I just wanted to share this with you because I found it amusing. Yes, it made me smile.
