’29’, My Fitness Age, Per VO2 Max Measured By A Garmin Fenix 6 — 37-Years Below Actual.
OK, I am SORRY.
But, I am, kind of, chuffed —
you can hate me, but you can’t blame me.
I have a daughter who is 30 and a son who will be 28 next year.
So, this is NOT bad for an old codger,
especially since my 19-year old daughter is going around saying “before he dies”.
She MUST know something that I don’t know.
Anywho.

This is per my new Garmin Fenix 6 Sapphire, which I wear 24×7.
My fitness age has gone down 10-years in the last 3-months.
Yes, I am working at it.
Yes, I have been working hard on this for the last 8-months, having had knee-surgery 10-months ago, i.e., March 7, 2019. I was on crutches for 6-weeks. Though I climbed stairs on my crutches to stay semi-fit, I couldn’t really get going until I was able to start walking. Then, I really started to walk. I end up walking 6 – 8 miles a day and climb the equivalent of at least 60 floors/day.
Busting my knee was the best thing that happened to me in a long time.
Wake-up call.
I was NOT as FIT as I had thought. So, had to rectify that.
I am also 30 lbs lighter.
I had my quadriceps tendon repair surgery,
at ‘Frisbie Memorial Hospital‘ —
performed by Dr. Charles Blitzer
of ‘Seacoast Orthopedics‘
on Thursday, March 7, 2019.
There was no pain to talk about
— throughout, from surgery to now.
