Sri Lanka’s Latest President, Gotabaya Rajapaksa, Is A U.S. Citizen!

Only in Sri Lanka.

Yes, he did spend 7-years in the U.S. from 1998 to 2005. It would appear he applied for citizenship, and got it, during those 7-years.

To be fair the war crime cases against him, in the U.S., have been dropped — albeit just within this month. That is quite the coincidence and is very convenient. So, he is now free to come and visit Trump. Trump will like him. Very similar personalities.
