Unless they have had the misfortune to have been to our house when we tell folks that we just do NOT have any room in the house for new stuff. We really are out of wall space and there just isn’t enough room left though this is not exactly a ultra-small dwelling in that we do have 4-stories of finished living space with around 3,400 sq. ft.

There are, however, somethings that we really can’t walk away from. Some call out to us by name.

IF you study what we did get there is method to the madness. DEFINITE, inescapable overseas motiff. I know where most things come from.

We both wanted the Chinese dragon mask. We have a number of Asian wooden masks and I am very partial to to Chinese dragon masks.

Also a RIOT that we, and you can’t get more heathen than the two of us, both wanted the Madonna and child painting! As soon as I saw it, I knew I was going to get it. Yes, it is Chinese. That nobody else outbid us must tell a tale.

Had to get the ‘Seabiscuit’ ‘Saratoga’ mug. We have been to the racetrack & museum at Saratoga and I am a huge fan of ‘Seabiscuit’.

I, just for the record, collect ‘Coca-Cola‘ memorabilia AND pigs — though of late, ONLY v. special ones.

I knew, without looking, that the BULL was from Spain and was worth getting.

Oh … THE INSULATOR. I collect OLD electrical memorabilia as well.

Haven’t found homes for all, but we will try.
