48-hours ago it was not supported on the new Garmin Fenix 6.

But, as of today, i.e., September 26, 2019, it is. I have it running, well, on my Fenix 6.

Yes, two-days ago I contacted the developer via the link in ‘Connect IQ’.

He e-mailed me this morning. Very nice gentleman. A lecturer in Computer Science in the U.S.

Programs these APPs as a hobby — for fun. That is wonderful. A very nice, generous person.

Try it out.

I have had this APP on my MARQ Expedition for a few months now. Comes in handy. Works well.

Good News For BUSY Rugby Fans, 17-Minute Highlights Of 2019 World Cup Matches, In HD, Available On YouTube (FREE).

by Anura Guruge

Just a very partial listing from

Given that NBC holds the U.S. broadcast right for the 2019 World Cup I did not expect to see much on YouTube.

I was pleasantly surprised. NBC, for a change, is being NICE. Yes, they are but 17-minute HIGHLIGHTs but it is in HD and appears to capture what is needed. Yes, it does leave you feeling a bit lost and empty at times, but it is better than nothing.

To be honest, I am quite cool with this. I do NOT have time to watch a full 90-100 minute game — not with my writing and also watching cricket! So, this suits I.

Yesterday, I watched two matches, back-to-back: New Zealand v South Africa & Fiji v Australia. They were both beyond excellent. Must watch. Honest. Some of the running. Will leave you breathless.

New Hampshire 2019 Fall Foliage Is Way, Way Ahead Of Schedule.

by Anura Guruge

In the last few days the colors have exploded, the brilliant reds, the vivid yellows and the appealing oranges. This is early. Maybe 2-weeks, possibly even 3. We are not in October yet, and these are the colors you would expect in mid-October.

Yes, I am lucky, very lucky. I live in the sticks and I am able to mindlessly amble across the wooded, rural landscape, on dirt roads, for at least 90-minutes a day. So, I get to see, observe and note the colors and the beauty around me. I do not take it for granted. I take time to smell the roses — though the wild roses are nearly all gone.

I would contend that 2019 New Hampshire foliage is in full-swing. I will have to take more pictures, so I can share with you.

Garmin Gets A Huge Plug From The U.S. Acting DNI During The ‘Whistleblower Complaint’ House Hearing.

by Anura Guruge

It was around 11:41am.

So, if you can find that.

Acting U.S. Director of National Intelligence (DNI), Joseph Maguire, a Navy Seal for 34-years, relies on Garmin to get him to work!

Wow. What BIGGER plus could you want.

Cracked me up. I was doing my 4+ mile walk, with my brand new Garmin Fenix 6 Sapphire, listening to the hearings (I being an unashamed news junkie) on a pocket transistor. [Yes, at 66, I am old fashioned. Just like I was doing 50-years ago, as a boy, I carry a pocket transistor radio IF I want to listen to the radio. Rarely music. Usually NPR or some other talk show. Yes, I carry, not always, my Google Pixel 2 phone as well, but I do not have a radio APP on it. SMILE.]

It was around 11:41 — since I checked the time on the Fenix 6, so I can share it with you.

Joseph Maguire, who has only been Acting DNI, for 6-weeks was outlining the timeline as to how and when he heard about this whistleblower complaint.

He was trying to explain that it was still his 2nd day in this new job and that “he was still using Garmin to get to work“.

Quite the endorsement.

Garmin GPS rocks — of course.

Full disclosure: I am a long-term Garmin Shareholder (and maybe because of that) own a Garmin MARQ Expedition & A Fenix 6 Sapphire.
